I will never forget my first couple session with my boyfriend 15 years ago. We were so young back then, but I remember it like it was yesterday – though not in a good way. The poses they put us in were hilarious in hindsight – hands perfectly arranged, smiling stiffly into the camera. Honestly? It felt terrible. Plus, the whole session was super rushed, and we had no time to connect – neither with each other nor with the photographer. And to top it off, we didn’t even get the digital files, just a handful of prints. Maybe I have a little trauma from it, haha, but deep down, it shaped my approach: I want my couples to experience the exact opposite.
